You talk to your assistantChatGPT, Claude, whichever you already use. It asks the questions nobody asks — whose spring break, which week — and does the looking-up, then writes what you decide into the record.

Everyone else taps a linkTheir own private one. In or out, what they'd rather do, what they're worried about. No app, no password, no "make an account to see the schedule".

The record answers the questionsWhat did we decide. Who has paid whom. What time we leave on Monday, and whether the place is even open when we get there.

What it refuses to do

Most of the work is in what a plan is not allowed to claim.

It never says who said no. Answers are private, counts are public. The group sees "five in, one out", and the planner sees the rest.
It never invents a number. A price or a rating with no source reads as "not looked up yet", because a figure nobody checked is worse than no figure.
It never leaves a blank where an answer belongs. Every line says how you get there, even when the answer is "at the house" — a blank is a question somebody has to ask.
It says what hasn't been done. Five things still need booking and nobody has claimed them; that appears without anyone thinking to ask.

Built for a real trip

Nine people, São Miguel, April 2027 — a house booked, flights half-bought and a four-month-old coming along. Everything here has been used in anger on that trip, which is why it argues with you about opening hours.
